Leslie is a graduate of the University of Cincinnati and has a Master’s degree in Labor and Employment Relations. As she was raising her family, Leslie volunteered as Director of Familia for nine years in the Cincinnati area. Annually close to 500 people participate in this study in the Cincinnati area.
It is through her work with Familia that Leslie was exposed to the Theology of the Body. In 2004, through the inspiration of the Holy Spirit she was afforded the opportunity to study at the very first Theology of the Body Immersion course presented by Christopher West. She has since continued studying with the TOB Institute in pursuit of her Certification on the subject.
Today Leslie is the Executive Director of Ruah Woods, a “first of its kind” Theology of the Body education center located in Cincinnati, Ohio. The mission of Ruah Woods is to restore the family and renew the culture by educating and training others to understand, embrace and evangelize the message of Theology of the Body.
