Fees and Financial Policies

We recognize that psychological services often involves a serious financial investment for most people.  We also believe that it represents an important investment in more fully becoming the person (man, husband, father, woman, wife, mother, etc.) you were created to be.  What else is that important? 

At RWPS the fee for the initial appointment is $200.  The fee for subsequent individual, couples, or family sessions is $150.  These appointments are 50 minutes in length. The fee for group therapy sessions is $90 for a 90 minute session. 

RWPS also has a "Late Cancel / No Show" fee of $60.  The fees quoted here are subject to change.   

RWPS does not participate in insurance plans or insurance panels.  We believe that remaining outside of this system will help us to safeguard your privacy, enable us to focus more solely on providing the best services we can, and keep our administrative expenses down. 

There are three main options for paying for our services:                        

• Self-pay:  RWPS accepts cash, checks, and credit cards at the time of service.

• Submitting your own claims to your insurance company.  At each session, we will provide a statement, which you can submit to your insurance company who may reimburse you for our services as an “out-of-network” provider.  We will gladly assist you with this process.  We encourage you to contact your insurance company and ask about how to submit claims for an out-of-network provider and what the rate of reimbursement will be.  Regardless of whether your insurance company will reimburse you, the fees are still your responsibility and are due at the time of service.

• RWPS Charitable Grant System:  For those who do not have insurance for mental health services and/or cannot afford them even with their insurance, we are pleased to offer a Charitable Grant System.  These monetary Grants are given to a portion of qualifying RWPS patients per session to offset the standard fees.  The remaining fee is your responsibility and is due at the time of service.  Interested individuals must complete an application and provide verification of their current income (i.e., your most recent federal tax return).  The amount of the Grant will vary depending on the needs of the individual, the availability of funds, and is subject to approval.  All of this is explained more fully in the documents entitled “RWPS Charitable Grant System” and the “RWPS Charitable Grant Application” located on the Patient Forms page.
